In den letzten Stunden haben mich verschiedene Hinweismails erreicht, alle mit etwa dem gleichen Inhalt: "Roger, was ist mit den Videos los? Sie laufen nicht!"

Nun, wir haben vor einigen Monaten beschlossen, alle Videos über Sevenload zu veröffentlichen, nach dem wir mit der YouTube-Qualität nicht mehr zufrieden waren.

Seit letztem Freitag hat Sevenload begonnen, den längst angekündigten Relaunch ihres Portals zu verwirklichen. Nach Plan wäre alles am Sonntag Mittag erledigt gewesen. Doch wer ein solch grosses Projekt in Angriff nimmt, muss mit Ausfällen rechnen. Und genau das ist passiert.
Trotz grösstmöglichem Einsatz aller Kräfte sind Fehler bei der Soft- und der Hardware aufgetreten. Das ist normal und lässt sich kaum vermeiden. Die Testserver simulieren zwar im Vorfeld reale Verhältnisse, aber die Praxis lässt immer alle möglichen "Aber-dies-nicht-auch-noch" zu Tage treten.

Wir bewundern das Sevenload-Team, einen solch grossen Relaunch vorzunehmen und bitten alle kulturTV-BesucherInnen um Geduld. Es kann durchaus noch bis Ende Woche zu grössen Verzögerungen kommen. Dann aber wird alles wieder in gewohnt zuverlässiger Manier verfügbar sein.
