Josef "Seppi" Ritler - Eine erste Begegnung

Unser kunstpanorama war vor vielen Jahren eine aktive Fabrik, die Frigorex. Wer jetzt die Räumlichkeit betritt, hat als erstes den Eindruck, er würde eine Druckerei betreten, nur ohne Druckmaschinen. Der Heizungsventilator bietet die entsprechende Geräuschkulisse dazu.

Da stehen Rollen, die an gewaltige Zeitungsproduktionen erinnern, Paletten mit Masseninformationen, die LeserInnen suchen. Jedenfalls findet ein Gegenüber mit der Presse statt.

Doch hinter den Medien stehen Menschen, Persönlichkeiten wie Josef Ritler. Sein Werk wird aktuell mit einer Ausstellung gewürdigt (bis 18. November 2007). Anlässlich der Vernissage wurde Seppi mit dem "Lifetime Award 2007" des Verbands Schweizer Berufsfotografen (Sektion Zürich Zentralschweiz) geehrt. Viele "Promis", die seinen Weg über 40 Jahr begleitet haben, waren anwesend. Besonders beeindruckt hat Ritler das Erscheinen von Hazy Osterwald.

Doch wer ist Josef Ritler? Heute bin ich ihm zum ersten Mal bewusst begegnet, obwohl ich erfahren durfte, dass er meine Arbeit seit längerer Zeit beachtet (und auch gut darüber informiert ist).

Obwohl er als PresseFotograf ausstellt, ist er ein Geschichtenerzähler. Wer ihn anspricht, sei es auf eine seiner Aufnahmen oder ein Ereignis, wird gleich mit persönlichen Erlebnissen versorgt, auf lebendigste Art und Weise. Dabei stellt er aber weder sich noch das Erlebte in den Vordergrund, er präsentiert eine ganzheitliche Betrachtungsweise, ausgewogen und informativ.

Solche Menschen wecken mein Interesse besonders. Sie haben etwas zu sagen, direkt und ohne "ich,ich,ich,ich....". Nachdem ich mich bei ihm (überflüssigerweise) vorgestellt habe, kam sofort das "ich bin der Seppi". Es entstand kein Eis, dass gebrochen werden musste, er legte mir gleich einen ganzen Fluss zu Füssen. Und so kreierte ich ein Boot, in dem wir beide Platz nehmen sollten. Die Anfrage für eine gemeinsame Arbeit wurde von ihm sofort mit den Worten "ich bin für alles zu haben" bejaht.

Und so wird an dieser Stelle in nächster Zeit noch einiges "vom Seppi" zu hören/sehen/lesen sein. Ich freue mich, Seppi!
